As student leaders we strive to promote teamwork and success amongst all HTM students in the classroom, in industry and in our own personal lives. Together we foster relationships among students, faculty, staff, alumni and industry along with creating a sense of pride in HTM. Information Technology Management Students’ Association (ITMSA)

The Information Technology Management Student Association (ITMSA) is a student-run organization that provides advancement, social and academic related events for the students within the ITM program to enrich the university experience and to promote interaction and relationships between students, inside and outside of ITM. The ITMSA hosts events such as pub nights, Frosh Finale, the ITM Meet and Greet, the annual CaseIT and Symcor Case Competitions, various fundraisers for charity, networking nights and information sessions. In order to further promote the program, the ITMSA also creates ITM merchandise such as hoodies and T-Shirts and takes part in the annual Ryerson-wide Parade and Picnic. The Ryerson Commerce & Politics Association (RCPA) is a student group representing all those who are interested in how politics and commerce intertwine. It is currently located within the Ted Rogers School of Management, at Ryerson University. The RCPA is organized through an Executive Board as well as honorary and appointed positions.Our events attempt to provide students with the opportunity to attain and retain knowledge as well as network with industry professionals.
The RCPA has a mission to educate students without partisanship within the four schools of Commerce, so they can make sound decisions in both the world of business and politics. |

Ryerson Toastmasters
| email | website | Ryerson Toastmasters is an officially chartered Toastmasters Club in the Ted Rogers School of Management formed with the aim to provide with the Toastmasters learn-by-doing program that helps members learn the arts of effective speaking, listening and thinking and develop public speaking, communication and leadership skills, the essential skills set to succeed in the business world. Participants practice and learn skills by filling a meeting role, ranging from giving a prepared speech or an impromptu one to serving as timer, evaluator or grammarian. There is no instructor; instead, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved. |

The Sustainable Tourism Society (STS) is a Ryerson student group which is committed to exposing the growing need for thoughtful and responsible tourism development.The travel and tourism industry is one of the largest industries in the world, with the potential of benefiting businesses, local communities, travelers and other such stakeholders through new developments, job creation and increased cultural awareness. However, there are negative aspects of the industry such as environmental degradation and social implications that need to be acknowledged so that methods can be implemented to avoid such consequences. The STS strongly believes in a positive approach to fostering awareness on these issues by promoting industry wide best practices that exemplify responsible initiatives being implemented within the industry. Through open dialogue, insightful research, enlightening lectures, and field trips to responsibly developed locations, the Sustainable Tourism Society aims to bring the idea of well-planned tourism destinations to the mainstream. |
