RCS Cares

RCS Cares is the social responsibility branch of the Ryerson Commerce Society. It was founded by former board members, Jennifer Hileman (SRM) and Christopher McCrimmon (SBM) in the 2008-2009 academic year. RCS Cares mission includes giving back to the community and also to improve the well being of the Ted Roger School of Management students.
As the 2009 RCS Cares committee members, we strongly believe that we will be able to make a greater impact to society by not only donating money or fundraising, but by volunteering our time and efforts to the Toronto community.
In its inaugural year RCS Cares held a number of successful events including a Habitat for Humanity build, the CIBC Run for the Cure, a flu clinic and a charity Gala for the Make a Wish Foundation. This year, we are looking to continue to run events that took place last year and to also create some new experiences and fundraisers.
