Corporate Relations Committee
The Corporate Relations Committee is hired by the executive committee and ratified by the board of directors. The CRC are non-voting board members that assist with Ryerson Commerce Society corporate relations initiatives.

Arzan Bharucha Program: SBM Year: Third Arzan Bharucha is currently in his 4th year pursuing his studies in Global Management Studies with a minor in Finance. As an aspiring entrepreneur, Arzan has plans to open up his own business after graduating. To mention some accomplishments – Arzan received the YMCA Peace Medallion in 2000, the Rotary Youth Leadership Award in 2006, and was presented with the 08/09 TRSM: Contribution to Student Life Award. Arzan is an active member within the Ryerson community through his involvement with a number of student groups. He is currently the executive advisor for DECA Ryerson and the Ryerson Global Management Group, and sits on the Board of Governors for Ryerson University for the 2009/10 term. As an account manager for the Corporate Relations Committee (CRC), Arzan is currently assisting in the creation of a collaborative sponsorship system to be implemented within TRSM student groups and associations. His personal goal this year working on the CRC is to create and strengthen long term relationships with corporations and business leaders to ensure sustainability of the program. |

Salman Habib Program: Business Management Major: Finance Year: Third Salman is a full-time student who transferred from Humber college, where he graduated with a diploma in Business management. Upon completion of his diploma he ventured off into the world and worked form Direct Energy, Bell and TrojanOne in the industries of Energy, Telecom and Marketing, respectively. He then chose to further his education at Ryerson. while doing so he volunteered his time during tax season filling out tax returns for international students. as well as volunteering for the Ryerson Business Forum, NACO angel investors summit and is a Tri-mentor. He has also taken on roles in the Ryerson University Finance society and the Ryerson Commerce Society. With the Ryerson University Finance Society, Salman has taken on the role of an associate. With the Ryerson Commerce Society, Salman has been committed to the Corporate relations committee working as an account manager and striving to partner with new sponsors and create bonds with existing sponsors. . |
