The RYERSON COMMERCE SOCIETY is one of the only societies across Canada to fund its members up to 100% of costs to attend national and international conferences. See how below!
In order to apply and be accepted for conferences funding there are a few steps that you need to take as an applicant. Please see below:

Applying for Conferences listed in the Database:
1. Please review the criteria if any.
2. Visit the link to see what the conference is all about and if it is suitable for you.
3. Apply using the RCS form beside the link before the deadline.
4. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THE CONFERENCE DIRECTLY ON THEIR WEBSITE. You will not be considered for funding.
5. After applying with the RCS form wait for confirmation to see if you have been accepted.
What if the conference or competition is not in the listed database?
If the conference or competition is not listed in the database and you think it is of value to our students to attend and have our school represented there, simply just email the RCS Conferences Committee at con.comp@rcsonline.ca. Please note that if the conference cost more than $1000CAD per student to attend you will have to present the opportunity at one of the RCS Board of Directors Meeting.

PLEASE NOTE: All students that are funded by the RCS to represent the TRSM at conferences must complete and a full presentation report on their experience and outcome within a week of there return from the conference or competition in order to receive reimbursement. This report will be used to inform future students. You may be asked to present it at a RCS Conferences 101 seminar.
