FROSH: Risk Assessment Meeting – Friday, June 18, 2010 @ 6PM
Hi All Potential Frosh Leaders and Organizers,
This is the FROSH Post you have been waiting for. The Risk Assessment meeting has been booked and all the details are listed below. An email and facebook message has also been sent out.
1. This meeting is mandatory for you to attend. If you cannot attend let me know well in advance. If you do not attend, you will be taken off the list for the selection process. I cannot stress this enough so please make arrangements so you can be there. It’s in exactly one month.
2. The meeting will start at 6pm sharp. The meeting will be short so it is very important that you come on time so you don’t miss any crucial information. If you are late, there is a chance you will not be allowed in the room.
3. The meeting will take place in TRS 1-067 on Friday, June 18, 2010.
4. There is no dress code for this meeting however the Dean of our school as well as our Associate Deans will be there so please look and act respectably
5. The theme has been selected BUT we will be keeping it a secret for a little while longer to build the suspense!!!!
6. GET EXCITED!!!! There’s only 104 days left!!!!!!!!

- A cover letter explaining why you are qualified for the position
The deadline to apply is FRIDAY APRIL 30th
Interviews will be scheduled and held from May 10th – May 21st 2010.
Position Start date: Tuesday, May 25th 2010, End date: Thursday March 31st, 2011
Conference duration: January 2011 over 3 days (exact dates TBA)

Why: Raise money for the ‘Right to Play’ organization!
Create a team of 8 players and participate in the RCS Cares and RyeSpirit Charity Dodgeball Tournament! The cost is $60 per teamand all proceeds will be donated to Right to Play.
Right to Play is an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play programs to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver its programs in countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Not only will you be helping children around the world, but the first place prize is 8 Raptors tickets (Wed. Feb. 24 2010 at 7 PM – Raptors vs. Portland Trail Blazers) and a personalized team plaque!
