
Angelo Pirosz
President
Angelo is a fourth year Accounting major from Mississauga. Angelo has a lot of prior involvement within the Ryerson Commerce Society starting off as a member of the Internal Relations Committee (now Events Committee), Vice President of Corporate Relations, and now President. Angelo has also participated in DECA and represented at the International Career Development (ICDC) Conference in Orlando, Florida. Angelo also works at Scotia bank as a Customer Service Representative. Upon graduation, Angelo would like to pursue CA designation, move out of public accounting and into industry to gain experience, and eventually pursue an MBA in the United States.
Samantha Almeida
VP Administration & Operations
Samantha is a third year Retail Management major from Mississauga. Samantha is currently a Third Year Representative for the Retail Students’ Association and the Ryerson University Ambassador for the Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business Intercollegiate Business Convention. She began her involvement in the TRSM community as a member of the Internal Relations Committee (now Events Committee) for the RCS and as a Second Year Representative for the Retail Students’ Association. Last year, Samantha won the George Wong Scholarship in Retail Management for excellence in leadership and contribution to the quality of student life. In 2009, she was awarded the Hudson’s Bay Company Award in Retail Management. Upon graduation, Samantha would like to obtain an MBA, travel to Europe and South America, and pursue a career in project management.
Darren Shivraj
VP Corporate Relations
Darren Shivraj is a fourth year Global Management major from Mississauga, Ontario. This past year, Darren placed top ten at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida. Darren has also been a member of the RCS as a Director of Business Management and Co-Chair of the RCS Street Team. Upon graduation, Darren is looking to work for a university, marketing firm and start his own business with a global impact.
Laura Grisolia
VP Finance
Laura is a fourth year Accounting major, finance minor from Vaughn, Ontario. Laura has three years experience on the Ryerson Commerce Society, working with a team of ambitious student leaders. She was also involved with planning and executing the 2011 Ted Rogers Management Conference and is a member of the Ted Rogers School of Management Top 100 Program. Laura currently works at Scotiabank as a Customer Service Representative. Upon graduation, Laura wishes to pursue a CA designation and is determined to incorporate her love for the arts and travel into her career.
Natasha Campagna
VP Events & Marketing
Natasha is a third year Marketing major from Toronto. She is currently a member of the Ted Rogers School of Management Top 100 Program and was Head Organizer for Ryerson’s Commerce Frosh Week. She feels that has been such a great experience, which inspired her to run for her current position as Vice President Events & Marketing on the RCS. Natasha also has experience as a Social Media Manager for the Ryerson Marketing Association.
Michael Jor
VP Engagement & Outreach
Michael is a fourth year Hospitality and Tourism Management major from Richmond Hill. He has been in the Hospitality field for more than five years. Michael graduated from George Brown College with honors, prior to being a student the Ted Rogers School of Management. Upon gradutating, he would like to pursue a CMA designation, visit Antarctica, Australia and New Zealand.
